Why Hire The Probst Law Firm?

If you are visiting my website, you have probably been sent here by another lawyer who  may have told you that they can’t help and that you need to find a maritime or cruise line lawyer. You are probably overwhelmed, at least a little confused, and eager to have someone answer your questions. Let me start by telling you that you are not alone. Most of the people who come to us feel the same way, so I understand many of the concerns and fears you and your family may have regarding your injury. I founded The Probst Law Firm to help people just like you, that are dealing with serious injuries caused by a cruise line’s negligence. Having represented all three of the world’s largest cruise lines and having started and run the in-house litigation department for one of them for over a decade, I can offer a unique understanding of the strategies and litigation techniques used by the defense. Our firm uses this knowledge to effectively fight for clients’ rights and ensure the best possible outcome for each case.

My Promise

I will listen to all of your concerns and questions.  I understand that you may have many questions and concerns, and I will work with you to help answer your questions throughout the duration of your case.

Once you retain my services, I will offer strong, relevant legal counsel based on experience handling over 750 cruise injury cases.

I will provide realistic expectations for you and your family regarding your potential outcome and timelines associated with your case.  These expectations are based on my extensive knowledge of the cruise line industry, and the processes within the cruise line litigation departments.

Cruise lines count on you settling early in your case, we know this and stay in the fight in order obtain maximum recovery. I will work with whatever witnesses, experts, media, materials, and medical professionals available to ensure the strongest outcome for your case.

While preparing your case for trial or settlement, I will advance all the costs associated with handling your case.

I will NOT CHARGE A DIME to you or your family unless we are able to obtain a recovery on your case.

Hiring A Cruise Injury Attorney

Prior to founding The Probst Law Firm, I defended the cruise lines in hundreds of cases like yours.

During that time, I handled cases ranging from slip and falls to wrongful death actions and every other type of cruise ship accident and everything in between.  I have successfully litigated in state and federal court and in arbitration.

I grew up in Atlanta, but many of our family vacations were in the Florida Keys boating and SCUBA diving. That time in the Keys instilled in me a love for the water at an early age.  I also developed a passion for the law, specifically litigation, at an early age due in large part to my middle school’s mock court system.  After winning my first “trial” in Jr. High, I was hooked and knew I wanted to be a trial lawyer.

My love of the water and for trying cases came together after law school when I moved the Florida Keys to be a prosecutor.  It was while I was living in the Keys and working as a prosecutor that I discovered maritime law and after several years in the Keys I moved to Miami and joined one of the top maritime law firms and began focusing my career on this niche area of the law.

I spent years as a cruise line defense attorney learning the ins and outs of this area of the law. As a result, I know what it takes to successfully litigate cruise ship accident cases, as well as shore excursion accident cases.  I have worked with and against some of the best attorneys in this field.  I have seen what works, and I have seen what doesn’t and I use that knowledge and experience to get maximum recoveries for my clients.

Regards,

Geoff Probst
